Have a welcome mat for winter so they don't track snow all over your reno. have a broom and mop for when they do and some paper towels.

Basically, it is one large game of "cat and mouse" that we all play on a daily basis. 

I am not worried about it.. one thing about this state is things can go very quickly through the system.. and I really dont think this person wants to go to the mat with me.
