Crypto is not a currency, it is a speculative investment, like buying gold or buying baseball cards.

Over time, assets appreciate, and fiat currency declines in purchasing power. 

But these “experts” have a following, and that’s the currency that matters here in 2022.

Purchasing properties using crypto currency is very doable now in this country.

It sounds all pretty utopian, but my grandfather, who has seen 4 different currencies in his life time, once told me: just because YOU have never seen it in your life time, that does not mean in can't happen!

It was both environmentally and culturally diverse, they speak English (not understandable English in some parts), and the currency is based on US dollar.Rain forest, Cayes, an atoll, Mayan ruins, great waterfall, Caves, interesting zoo, cool towns (really liked Placentia).I could envision visiting Belize annually.

downside of investing overseas is mainly currency appreciation.

I would want minimum down due to the currency exchange not being very favourable   for us at the moment.

Some very real risks to consider :1) Currency risk.

I have lost 7k because of currency exchange delay because of them.
