Fast forward to today, and everyone is moving here from California (and other places, but primarily CA) and the growth is exploding, and now there are new self storage facilities popping up all over.  

New Braunfels has already seen some of that expansion but they are really about to explode in my opinion.

In every world this is a mathematically inferior situation to paying less for the property, unless you are willing to gamble that the 10-40k is a drop in the bucket because the place is going to explode upwards in value...?

Explain to them if your office explodes and kills you and your partners they will get to take that house.   

Obviously, there is tremendous amount of valuable information in these forums on house hacking, and if you have the resources to consider a purchase in San Diego and life looks like you will be making that home for some time, I have found single family homes with rentable space such as guest apartments and carriage homes, as well as small multifamily(duplex - quad) can be a fantastic way, when combined with a daily rental model vs monthly rental model, to explode your passive income. 

The DFW real estate market has exploded over the last 5-7 years.

I just observe it here on BP that after 2015 or so the number of new investor posts has exploded.

Plus big cities have great tourism which allows (certain) homes to be used as STRs, thereby exploding the ROI.

Our State doesnt want these things exploding,catching on fire, water or waste to  come shooting out, or pieces to fall off as it travels.Second, what is the difference between a tiny home and an RV?

As many of you know, the housing prices in Vancouver has exploded the past 5-10 years that i lived here (I am originally from Toronto).
