Hey house hacking peeps, I wanted to share some of the biggest lessons I've learned so far with my wife and I's duplex house hack. 1) Finding the right property is VERY important for a house hack.

We've lost money on flips which can hurt your pride a bit, but we took those lessons learned and improved every part of our process.

On the next episode of "How to collapse your own product by sending in new users to spam the most experienced real estate investors on the planet by telling them how good something is that is already being done by a million other companies after the CEO gets kicked out of the forum"...Another lesson in what not to do and how not to respond.

You are going to rush into a terrible decision because you are chasing something you don't need now since you are still in college.

I don't see much opportunity here unless you can negotiate with the lender to have them take less on the $155k (do a "short sale").Love any and all thoughts on how you guys would take down these deals.

I recently graduated college on the central coast of California and love the area.

I ask this because upon looking around Zillow I found a "residential-single family" home that has 12 bedrooms and the description claims that all 12 rooms rent out and that it's already being filled for the upcoming college year.
