So it could be argued that the only reason for those limits is to protect the RE industry and that thereby the lobbying group is actually influincing and controlling the governemnt officials.And interesting delimea indeed as on the one hand, the government is making laws just for special interest groups but on the other hand they may indeed be protecting their constituants from abuse by unliscensed predators.

Back in their home countries, you can see plenty of lazy people with the same entitlement mentality that is very annoying to all of us.But I am sure there is some entitlement abuse among all types of people, foreign and native born.

It doesn't mention how long this law has been in effect, but the states and municipalities do have the authority to add protected classes to their equal housing laws (I remember one where sexual orientation was added), and this just serves to illustrate how important it is to know and abide by your state and local laws, and mind your P's and Q's when dealing with prospective tenants.
