Now, I few things you guys might need to know.1- The agent and my colleague have known each other before I joined the business.2- I believe my colleague does not want to upset him in fear of straining the relationship. 

I found that getting upset won't help the situation at all and just make things worse.

The upset lady expected me to give it to her for the price I paid; I nicely explained this is a business venture for a profit.

Day 5: Sellers agent responds to my email and included all his partners CC'd to which partner A becomes upset with agent for telling me "not highly motivated" etc and would prefer in the future to just say will consider all offers because he is highly motivated and wants out.Sellers agent responds: "I am not highly motivated to consider this type of offer.

Long story short, Jane is upset at me for offering (not requiring) her a downsize in her lease, after refusing her request for sub-letting a room out. 

I always tell people you're welcome to see it, and don't screen them out over the phone, or they get upset and file discrimination claims.And at the open houses, I always have a few completed applications in a folder, sometimes from showings a year before, so when they ask, I say I got a few people interested, but I'll  won't pick the finalist till next week.

Do people get upset if they pay application fee but are not selected?

I just rented my first without appliances and only had one person come to see it that was upset.
