You'll just have to be thick skinned.The slum lord comments come from a number of things.  

Your wall can vary in R-value depending on what thickness and type of insulation (rigid, foam or batt insulation) you choose.  

I'm a rather thick-skinned person so it'll take way more than a flag to offend me.

It is unfortunate but common.Most landlords that remain in the business let go of their personal attachment to the properties and learn that dealing with tenants requires thick skin and a purely business approach to managing their properties.

They can cut stone typically up to 3" thick with the new 94K machines, so you're good to go.  

If using the click lock flooring, be mindful of the thickness of the underlayment.

You need some thick skin to do this and serious skill that you are worth what you earn and stick with your 6% commission and not a % lower..The ones that I know practice everyday with their scripts with other agents.

REI takes thick skin.While much of what you have to say makes sense, your out of the blue attack on another member of the site is completely unwarranted.

However many of said idiots end up losing money since they have no idea how to buy the place in a way that makes a profit.I could have easily wholesaled most of the deals I have done for above average fees since they have been very thick.
