I one had a real estate license (20 some years ago), but all they wanted me to do was open the white pages and make phone calls...needless to say in my mid 20's (before the internet) that wasn't enough action...since the only other real estate experience was owning my own house....I have reading a lot, listening to the podcast, and attending some of the webinars and am soaking it all in....I would like to build for our retirement, just figuring out how i want to do it!!

But I guarantee you the companies putting their name on the top of buildings in downtown Atlanta or Charlotte are paying a lot for it or getting equal value in lease negotiations.It sounds like your particular sign has some solid value to the business so I would start out asking for something for it in your negotiations and go from there depending on what else they and you want.The only caution I would throw in is to look at how valuable that location is to the bank.

Hey guys,Here is a link to a video and some pictures of a property that my partner and I are considering to sell.Rental Property Pics and VidsIt seems like the property itself is a total rehab.Problem is, the community this property is in is a rental community, not a fix and flip community.Judging by what you see in this video and the pictures, what do you think the repair cost would be to make this house acceptable just to be rented out?
