I am being offered 3 houses as a package deal for $210k.

You can also test market a finish package with a unit.

This may not work as well for you as variable rate real estate notes in the U.S.A. are not as attractive as those here (unless there is something other than an ARM which I have yet to encounter).

Exposing your soft underbelly .....Probably not good on open forums either since you will encounter people like me that don't give a dam.

If its in your personal name you should be able to find a policy that will package with your home/auto.

On an individual scale, when encountering an asymmetry you make the choice to absorb or outsource that risk.

These properties are out of state, so I planned on having a Property Mgmt Company manage and handle the full package - manage the rebuild/contractors, market/lease/evict/etc - and I just collect a check. 

We are in the process deciding on kitchen appliance package and are stuck between two similarity priced packages, a Viking package or a GE Cafe package.
