It sounds like all involved are growing distant from each other due to life choices.

My wife and I absolutely love Hawaii (although we are from GA (-: ) and think that -- now that Oahu, Maui, and Kauai are essentially maxed out or unaffordable for the vast majority -- people will be flocking to the Big Island in the near and distant future.

This is my own personal philosophy, though, and extends to all areas of life.If I make some grandiose Big "Hairy" goal, it's going to automatically give it intention/significance of beingvery lengthy, difficult, and or distant.

I have a particular strategy which allows Tax to be deferred - and paid out in the distant future from subsequent borrowings against assets, which will have appreciated significantly.
