This is my first rental and it use to be my home, I am trying to rememeber that this is a business and to not have emotional connection to it, but it still is my asset and i don't want to see it go down the drain.

That way, you can decide whether you want to dive into the syndication business and become a syndicator yourself or if you only want to invest in someone else's deals - and you will gain a deeper understanding of the syndication process.

So I started from there, then I went a little deeper and using Biggerpockets Rental Calculator and started plugin the numbers. 

I want to pause here for a second for a deeper dive on everything I just touched on.

You have to weigh those factors against all the good advice you've gotten here, and make your decision based on bottom line, not emotions.

I wish more folks posted in this manner, as it provides the roadmap, and allows for deeper inspection/education at each stage.  

Instead of giving up, its time to dig a little deeper.
