We updated the carpets upstairs 4 yrs ago & recently upgraded main level floors to luxury vinyl plank, new kitchen cabinets & counters.

So are new cabinets, sinks, bathtubs, etc.  

Also the cabinet maker (does a ton of the cabinets for builders in that area) was already running about 4 months out he said as of 3 months ago when mine were ordered.

Kitchen renovation (cabinets, countertops, appliances) bathroom renovation, and flooring are usually the cosmetic things that I find add the most cost, you should be able to determine if at least any if these areas need to be updated and go from there. 

Some of the repairs/updates we planned on doing was:-Update flooring in all rooms (vinyl/carpet)-New paint in all rooms-Paint cabinets in kitchen-Update appliances-New skirting-Repair roofBased on this list, any tips?

A new roof under 15k without and structural work, swapping out cabinets, swapping out a hot water heater in kind.

A little constructive criticism for if you do more of these remodels.It looks like there is a pantry, but not many upper cabinets for the most commonly used dishes.

When it comes to getting quotes from contractors, I know I need to give them a list of things that I want done, but do I include specific products (type and color of LVP flooring, paint colors, brand of kitchen cabinets, etc.)?
