I'm on the Nevada side of the lake and there are some good opportunities for rentals in the lower elevations around Reno.

Your credit score (672) is a bit on the lower side, which may also be contributing to the higher interest rate and cost.Have you looked into working with private lenders or small local portfolio lenders?

Hey @Anne Christensen - Having been on both sides of real estate meetups (attending and hosting), I can tell you they're absolutely worth your time if you pick the right ones. 

My biggest challenge right now is deal flow as I am trying to get into flipping and the sale side is pretty rough in my market currently. 

A couple of things: - If you put more cash down, perhaps there are opportunities on the debt side that emerge - can you find assumable debt? 

Should be in the parkway (on the street side of the sidewalk), look for a blue metal circle in the grass somewhere.
