@Hoseah Njuguna I’m in the army and the schedule is strange but I will most definitely try to make it!

It was always approved, but I thought that was strange.

Nothing strange or uncommon to give people an option to buy your house .

I spoke to my realtors and they both seem to have "never seen" or "heard of" something like this, as if it's quite a strange idea, not the actual house hacking, but house hacking the basement while renting the above. 

Whether they be helpful, silly, strange, or insightful all are welcome here.

It seems very strange and illogical. 

The building is on a strange loan though- it was bought as a package deal with another house, so I’m not sure how that’s figured out.
