I just changed jobs with a huge pay cut (commute from 1 hour driving to walking 3 blocks - hooray!)

The new owners immediately planted well over 50 maple trees to block the across the street neighbor from ‘spying’ on them.  15 or so more years later it was sold again and . . .

He called roto rooter and they found some debris/branches that were blocking his exit.

We owned a 2 bed 1 bath that we purchased in 2006 and shortly after buying it we learned from the city records that the 200 SF bonus room was not a legal addition and the walls were basically poorly mortared cinder block on a concrete floor that was covered up with drywall to make it appear like a finished space.

Please let me know what you think about this deal the area is being revamp and its 2 blocks from main street and the beach.

It’s in a C area and this block is very well maintained.

I do think parts will improve but like Payne Phalen I expect it to be a block by block situation. 

Blocks in this neighborhood are comprised by 12 48ft by 120ft lots in a 6x2 formation.

I’d Tell them your okay with it and long as they don’t tear up the yard and park so as to not block anything or cause a disturbance with a neighbor .

Can they block the sale, fine me, force me to sell, force me to rent out only one side?
