Underwriters appetite tends to change depending on the region so someone in your area would be much more familiar with the most competitive insurers and be knowledgeable about the intricacies of local laws etc. 

@Brent Coombs frankly that credit can be as big or small as your appetite allows (it does cap at a certain point, and the credit cannot exceed the actual costs and prepaids).

It is the quickest and straight way to see what investors appetite for risk and reward in a given area is.

I don't know that you would want a water based fire suppression system in a kitchen.
