I didn't start off with ringing in the ears - that began after I saw a chiropractor to address my original symptoms (prickles in hands and feet, short term memory loss, lack of focus).

I'm not sure on this as I only use LLC's (I use investors on most of my projects and LLC's work best for that) but it rings a bell that financing may be easier in non-LLC owned properties.

You could Google the doctor's name, find out what city they're in, and find their real contact info (it's probably a different number than the one on the letter - which I'm sure rings straight to the ESA mill).

Facebook usually gets the phone ringing more than you want it to, so you should find a tenant fairly quickly at this point, assuming that your property is as nice as those around it.

With all things considered, I am concerned and curious that if we were to proceed with pulling a HELOC, would the assessor sent by the bank ring a bell when they see that the house has had upgrades done without any legal permits?
