@Glenn Mangold I don't think a case can be made that the 1 bedroom would yield a better return than 2 bedroom unless occupancy is significantly higher with 1 beds on FF, which I believe this data is available on the platform.

If you are good at self managing and know how to play the Airbnb/VRBO game with all the picture tricks, word gimmicks, amenities stuff and you are actively on their platforms, it seems to still be a viable market for the good investors.

Loopnet and Crexi are the most common platforms for listings, but many brokers don't list properties there.  

As a MTR newbie, I'm learning how important it is to constantly be updating your listings and keeping track of which platform your guest comes from, all the while mixing in STR stays to cover the gaps between the mid-term guests.

We would encourage them to share the good, bad, and ugly so you can gauge whether we are a good fit for your investment needs.While it's true that many of our clients haven't directly come from this platform, I'm excited to be part of the BiggerPockets community now as well.

Based on my experience I would focus on Facebook rather than other social media platforms such as Instagram, but its worth the shot to try an connect people from Instagram. 

Just started reading about the crowdfunding platforms like fundrise and crowdstreet.
