Hey guys,My name is Pete, I am currently active duty in the Navy stationed in Norfolk VA and I have about 3 to 4 years left till I retire.

The West Side light rail station is also a plus for the area. 

The subway ride from Borough Park or Flatbush in Brooklyn to Penn station NYC is over an hour. same trip takes under 40 min from Newark.

While many in the military community will talk about buying a house at every duty station and then retiring on the rental income after a full career, that takes a long point of view and a willingness to let the property sit with little impact to your bottom line for many years.

I'm former military and I wish I would have bought a home in every duty station and then rented it out upon transfer.

hello BP, my name is Clarence and im from the SF Bay Area and currently in the Navy so im stationed here in Lemoore Ca.

Apparently, people driving by had been watching us working on it.We took an application from a single mom with a young daughter who worked at the local gas station.

Once I started down the rental property investor path and being current military myself I started looking for ways to buy properties in areas I was formerly stationed.
