For SFH New Tampa is good if you're looking for newer builds, I also recommend Carrollwood and Citrus Park for SFH as well as the others I stated. 

Real estate investment is parking money as equity for appreciation, tax benefit and hopefully cash flow and inflation hedges. 

If you're looking for appreciation you will want to stick around the more central areas such as winter park, college park, and SoDo even. 

Park City is tough because it's just so expensive, but if you can find a deal it's great.
