Residents pool resources and live collaboratively to save money, such as by working in and eating from the communal garden, buying things in bulk, organizing child and elder care, carpooling, sharing meals, sharing tools, sharing transportation, etc. 

The seller is quite elderly so I’m not sure he wants to set up something like a long term loan but there’s no harm in trying right?

They also arranged to hire someone to mow for an elderly couple where the husband was recovering from a heart attack; they organized volunteers and used funds to buy paint for the exterior trim of a couple out of work. 

I was thinking of potentially trying to put some type of elderly care facility or day care facility for the elderly, as there is already wheel chair ramps built along with the bathrooms outfitted.I am looking for some other ideas that may not require as much permitting, zoning,etc. but something that will cash flow well.

However, it would seem extreme if you couldnt even allow your elderly mother to live in your home and contribute to the finances.  

The tenant came to court with a doctors note and basically said he is an elderly man.

Elderly people and people with disabilities who live on a fixed income are forced to live in low rent areas.

Or downsize to condo ( I need a home to go to to see elderly parents) and eventually rent  condo?
