Investment property after retirement
Looking for solid advice, I own a home in very high tax bracket neighborhood, but do need to do some updates. I also bought a new home in Charleston SC to be near my daughter and new growing family. Should I keep original home and update? Or downsize to condo ( I need a home to go to to see elderly parents) and eventually rent condo? Or by condo and keep home and do minor updates- having two investment properties in the long run?
