I've gone through eviction court proceedings, ran thousands of background/credit checks for application, made numerous leases, dealt with repairs and whole house renovations when a few tenants nearly destroyed properties, and worked with property management companies on the HOA units. 

Let start of with a bit of background....I'm a local metro Denver Realtor who has been licensed for less than a year and been with my brokerage (Dwell Denver Real Estate) since April/May 2014.

When I'm not talking to someone with a background in Finance or Accounting I try to simplify statements which is what I've done here with my responses, if not we'd be getting into the weeds on these post talking about EBITDA and other variables when we discuss our numbers on our assets.

These tax credit servicer/admins are more specialized and they are working with specific projects so investors will have little interaction with them.I was a Commissioner of our large PHA here in Springfield, so that's the reason for my background on the topic, being an administrator/commissioner is an appointed position by the local government entity that "sponsors" the PHA, in my case appointed by the Mayor of Springfield.

Look for a broker who specializes in commercial real estate or investment properties, as this will align well with your background and interests.

My background is project management versus development but if you were looking for some help I could help in some way.  

To tackle these challenges, I leaned on my background in Software Engineering and developed a tool designed to make the bird-dogging phase a bit smoother.

A little more background…My fiance has around $100,000 equity in his current home, but we are hesitant to do a HELOC bc he doesn’t want to risk the equity he’s built up, this being our first flip.
