Matthew, I admire your drive and vision and am glad your rentals are making great income, but we need to get you hooked up with an accountant.

But I know a few that I respect and admire as being ethical people.Understanding pain points and how to alleviate them is at the core of any good business practice.

Personally I see the rentals as an investment for long term Net worth etc not something to replace your ability to make money to live what ever life you choose to live.And boy is it highly regional Its not just one receipe .. you have Guys that I really admire like Steve V who to me is just the embodiment of do it yourself long term plan and then create a lifestyle..

this is where you have to admire other cultures especially Asian they dont kick the parents to the curb they bring them home to live their life under their roof..

I understand you have empathy for your tenants, and that is admirable, but at the end of the day you are still operating a business and you have to look out for yourself as well.
