The area where I dont have detailed time logs is prospecting / relationship building for my real estate business which is 100% SOI, Social media posts/stories, attending social events, networking events, friend/family events, etc.Side note...we have no kids so time to do both jobs is abundantly available.

I recommend attending as many local real estate meetups as you possibly can.

We attend local town meetings and have great relationships with the towns we operate in, which seems to help a great deal, but it still feels like STR's are at the mercy of decisions made by local governments.

I will join the FB group and I also plan to attend the MTR summit in San Diego next month.  

If the tax benefits out weigh the costs, then you'll want to move toward that strategy.If you attend local RE meetups, maybe you could ask for recommendations there.
