I just sent them my Excel files and they took care of it all for me.I think the Online version, although not as complete as the software version, has some very good advantages including the ability to hire remote book-keepers, continual upgrades without having to install anything, multiple employees in remote locations being able to access it, etc.

Thanks everyone.I just have a bunch of questions for the accountant I choose.There will probably be a few meetings up front and then not many after that.For me I have liability covered it's just best positioning the tax issue.What is the difference between an accountant and a bookkeeper??

My wife is our property manager's bookkeeper, so that helps.We wouldn't rule out other markets, but we'd be really cautious before buying in another market that we are not as familiar with.I wish i had everything figured out.

I am a Financial Analyst and have the skills to manage the finances as well as do forward looking analysis to evaluate the financial impact of the association's decisions.After getting the hang of the book keeping items, collecting fees, blah blah....I began to (per advice received on BP) get comfy with the declarations and by laws and making sure we are compliant with the governing body of documents.That is where I ended up on the phone with the insurance agent.
