Skills wanted to crack the NSW Australian market

I am new to the real estate business and putting a lot of effort into learning everything I can, which has brought me to this site. I am currently employed in the NSW Police force and getting married later this year.  I am wanting to improve my education and confidence with negotiating deals. I am yet to purchase my first property, I have been approved the finances ready to move, but just want to make the first purchase educated and a winner. I am good with numbers and bookkeeping and looking for opportunities to buy great deals. A potential real estate investor in the making.
