It's a similar story in countries like Colombia or Brazil, where there is a culture for the well-to-do to invest in real estate, probably inherited from the past hyperinflation days.I'm still not getting why people pay big money to buy a property in Ambergris Caye or Placencia when they can get a much nicer property in the much nicer cities of Playa de Carmen or Tulum, which is not very far up north.Otherwise, I'm not sure where you're getting your information from but I'd encourage you to check the accuracy of your sources.Belize isn't one of the most "wealthy" countries on a per capita basis than the majority of Central and South America.

I am not a fan of guru culture, and wholesaling gurus seem very dependent on getting people with little or no money to buy programs intended to help them earn their financial freedom. 

Agree with the previous poster, don't try to DIY asset protection and legal entity structuring across international borders...Reach out to an Irish professional familiar with Irish legal entity types and client types such as yours (i.e. foreigners investing in Irish AirBnBs).Then, interview and retain an Irish tax professional and a US tax professional.

A lot of it depends on the local culture of Student Housing that you have to find out about it around the school you're looking at.

i can actually afford it2) I know the local culture and which areas are B and C3) Im trying to grab property now before it triples in cost with the west coast exodus.Also i will be local so i can check on the property and religiously screen the tenants.

@Brandon DeVega so, I had a tenant who was doing her hair in the bathroom while she was smoking and she was using aqua net or somesuch hairspray, and she lit the can on fire which spun around and actually burned the cultured marble sink top and the toilet.
