Hi everyone, my wife and I moved to Salt Lake City from Iowa about a year ago.  

I'm looking for houses to flip in Salt Lake and surrounding counties.

I have been in the house and attempted to locate the worst areas for the salts of urea with a uv light. 

@Joe Hughes - Thanks for the detailed explanation -and please, take my advice with a grain of salt as I am new to real estate, but I am very experienced in sales, customer relations, and account management.

Seeing that you're in South Whales, definitely take multifamily advice with a grain of salt since some of the materials you'll find are US-specific, but the process and fundamentals of finding deals and partnering on deals will be universal.

I respect the your opinion about the agent's inclination to talk up the deal to the buyer, but I am going into any negotiation taking anything that they say with a grain of salt.

My family owns quite a few properties in Brian Head which is a very small ski resort, but is only a couple hours drive from Salt Lake.

Obviously take that approach with a grain of salt.

I'm new to all of this so take what I'm saying as a grain of salt!
