If you have a REIA, print some flyers to hand out at the meeting.

I only have one rental right now (getting ready to close on number 2 in a few weeks) so I do not have much experience, but I also provide a handout to all tenants explaining renters insurance, the typical costs, what it covers and why it is important.

If you use printed fliers to promote your property, at open houses, by a sign, or to hand out, can you share if these are successful in helping finding new tenants?

I spoke to a young lady the other day who was going through training and they wanted her to hand out 10 business cards at Home Depot and knock on doors.

I used to have a professional photographer go do this, and then make them into little books to hand out to prospective customers.... 

I've read numerous books, participated in a webinar, attended my local REIA trade show, and met with several professionals in the real estate industry.

I actually spoke with their reps at a trade show today and got this response: "Hi Nate!
