Hey BP,I need a structural engineer to take a look at a deck that is built hillside in the Hollywood Hills.

I'm 22, just graduated college and have been working as a manufacturing engineer for about 4 months now.

There was some concerns about foundation and we the got an engineers report. 

Such as engineer, architect, permits etc. 

Doing this part time is absolutely doable and most of my team including myself work as an engineer during the day then invests and works with buyers and sellers on nights and weekends.

I talked to a structural engineer and he recommended removal of the roof and sheathing, correct or replace the trusses, and re-roof.

You will find  Engineers, RN, Teachers, Law Enforcements, Military and the list goes on..You have good suggestions for books who responded to your post, check them out..

YUP  I could have flipped this plat to DR for a quick 1 mil profit but we decided to build it out and that brought us an additional million plus in profit .. of course you have risk reward.. flipping to DR takes all the risk out.. but we were and are confident in this market and price points.. the over million market is slowing a lot of PDX or taking a breather as I like to say.. but the 350 to 500k is still robust and that's where we play

It is not as robust as I would like it to be, but I buy a property each time I PCS, so it is growing. 

And we need to look at ourselves just as any other big business (whether we have one property or 100) by having a ROBUST software program that will protect them, and provide us with data (their personal information) at a moments notice.
