Take that and multiply it by every part of a property that can be damaged and you see why the insurance companies are losing so much money.To put it in perspective if the mortgage industry was losing money like this no one would be able to get a mortgage - period end of story.

For me the biggest issue I learned was that after owning rentals if you do want to exit and you want to say sell to a retail client ( owner occ) which generally will pay the most for a SFR asset if its in a decent school district.

I personally don't want to use them again mainly because of the lack of communication ya I watched the video you can tell industry knowledge and experience no doubt.. but unique lender not so sure about that..

Either they did not do their homework right (appraisal comes in lower than their estimate, insurance/taxes are higher than their estimate, property did not have clear title, and/or the property has deferred maintenance) or they are shopping without having any experience in the industry.
