Many attorneys charge a consultation fee that will be credited to my bill if I continue to work with them but I don’t want to pay for various consultation fees unless I know for sure that I have contacted the correct attorney.

Most states require you to be licensed to perform a wholesale deal in which you negotiate a contract, market that property and contract and then assign it for a fee.

 You may be able to secure higher leverage financing through alternative lenders than a traditional bank (not always the case) and this may help advance your objective of reducing the down payment/cash requirement but that may only be temporary relief as you will likely pay more over the course of the loan because of higher rates and fees.

More percentage-based fees are a bit disappointing since on larger homes or longer bookings of, say, $10k a 7% processing fee would equate to $700 in channel fees for bookings hosts effectively created on their own. 

They will have to sell it for a loss cause nobody in their right mind will buy that  The increased developer fees is only going to impact the seller, because they are the ones paying for it.

This was the big issue I had with Clayton Morris making millions upon millions in fee's without being licensed..

From what I understand there are numerous amateur beekeepers that can be found on Facebook groups that will do this for a low fee or even free.

That could be something simple such as adjusting the amount of late fees or something more involved.
