IF the tenant says s/he smokes, THEN the form will kick them to the section that says we don't rent to smokers.

Cigarettes, perhaps. 

I didn’t mention the 30 years of 3 full time smokers that left a nicotine film even inside of closed closets!  

Haven't been able to walk through and the pictures look rough - no flooding but heavy cosmetic w/indoor smokers.

Stated: Previous addresses on application match previous addresses on credit report, application filled out completely/correctly, specify # of instances and how long ago criminal activity needs to be, no bankruptcy in past 3 years, not turned into collections (you effectively have this), no evictions.Non published things to look at: smoker, pets, has bank account, has lived at previous addresses for over 1 year, roots in the community, not fussy, how long indicates plans to stay, how well their desired move in date aligns to your date, has sued or been sued.

I am about to start an Air BnB and am concerned about smokers, pets and general odor elimination between guests.

And wondering the same for smokers.

Fires, pet hoarders, smokers, meth labs, flooding, parties, vandalism, gangs, shot houses, deceased resident (for months sometimes), code violations...

Yes, the smoker will deny it.
