How do locals perceive that area in terms of tourism?

I’d love to invest in RRG STRs and hopefully help bring more tourism to this beautiful area and its people.

This is not a far-fetched scenario as it happened in Maimi Beach, a popular tourism destination and promising short-term rental market.

There are cities that embrace tourism. 

(its a little hot here, like death valley hot... but the river and casinos are a big draw for the snow bird population and tourism is crazy here.

But best to have reserves yourself because it is likely to be a while before tourism recovers fully here.Best of luck,--Paul

Aside from those tourism economics, Cozumel is a beautiful place though.It is true that, as the tourism and population of Playa del Carmen has exploded over the years, there has been somewhat more drug-related issues, as in many other places.

Finally, there is no large developing middle class, big path of progress or mass tourism, which are the biggest factors behind a sustainable rise in property prices.

What you need is high demand of tourism in that area for a successful short rental Airbnb, which does not define Wilsonville OR our surrounding suburbs.
