I am curious, what is better; finding a traditional bank/local bank to work with or a non-bank lender (Loan Depot, New American Funding, etc..)

And loan depot is being sued right now for lying about loan.

(the bottom unit is set below the street level although still open all the way around so not a true garden unit).

To accomplish getting more time, one could use credit cards and credit from large box stores like Home Depot to buy materials on 30 day credit, but the labor is going to likely need to be paid right after completion from the contractor.
