Choosing a Flooring Brand

I am a property manager and I want to choose a vinyl flooring brand and stick with it so I can go back and find more product  that will work with my leftovers. My home is that even if it isn't the absolute lowest price the cost savings from lowering my waste from job to job will make up for it. 

1) Does this make since? 

2) What brand do you recommend? 

3) Are there any good sources for buying construction supplies for a small but growing company?
