While I’m happy to share lots of information with folks it’s very rare that I will give out information like my primary contractor’s name or the names of any of his subs because I keep them busy full time and am not willing to lose my own time with them to someone else.

Here’s the weirdest part: 1- minutes later, he opened the house door and got in. 2- the phone number listed on his profile is out of service. 3- the phone number he called me from, is VRBo customer service number! 

I would think, and this has been confirmed to me by several estate and elder law attorneys; as well as tax attorneys, that a tree structure where you have a parent LLC and then wholly owned sub-LLCs under it's umbrella is the correct way to do this. 

Marking up repairs & maintenance, farming out customer service to people that can barely speak English, charge a lot of junk fees, etc.I'm just not comfortable doing any of that.  

I think their customer service is awesome.
