As far the actual investing side of things is concerned, my parents actually did little to teach me, but they ignited that spark of interest and I started asking them lots of questions (I was much older than at this point).

Maybe they just said something in passing that sparked an idea to apply to what you’re doing… Something to think about.

I think the "seller financing" idea you stated could be a spark but you're dad would need a good return (interest rate).
