You are probably only looking at $300-$400 for a Tax expert to handle this transaction correctly from the beginning, but if you start trying to transfer the property or handle it incorrectly it may end up costing you several thousands after the fact to unravel a mistake.  

I can see how some people can feel that way and it is not incorrect depending on what your goals are and how close you are to achieving them.

I'm not saying that your realtor is incorrect or all realtors are evil, but the requirements to get a license are very low and it is very easy to get an uninformed opinion from one.

When i did my initial calculations i had some incorrect numbers.

The monthly taxes on your calculation are incorrect it should be around $250 a month.

This was incorrect for real estate estimating.

Then you will start asking yourself why you even have a PM.Now if you suspect you are being charged incorrectly or for repairs not done etc, then that is a different animal.
