Unfortunately, I just figured out that I hosed myself on taxes.  

I feel hose surrounding areas would provide a ton of possibilities for investors.

And yes, it is common to have a leak originate in your unit, and flood out numerous floors below...I think my record is only six other units, but I have heard of even more extensive damage in local highrises.If you own a condo, you MUST replace washer hoses with no-burst stainless braided hoses, and not the cheap chinese ones either!

After this weekend, I plan on going on and stocking up on hose bib covers and salt and just putting it up in my attic.

Yah no joke, I had this one tenant who would literally turn the hose on and put it on the lawn and leave it going for like HOURS and hours.

If you don't have the proper tax and entity structuring in place you could really hose yourself for absurd taxation.

The one they used just hooked to the garden hose, and it seems I could run something like that myself annually and probably save a bunch of money and be able to use it at other properties periodically as a maintenance item.

question: How should you compensate a tenant who's water you had to shut off for one night because it was very late and your handyman could not fix a leak in the water heater hose until the next day?
