Hey guys,

I am anticipating a move to Charleston Sc. in the near future.  Do yall anticipate growth in that market to continue? It is a beautiful area with a great job market, but I just wanted to see what your thoughts on the market growth predictions in the future.

I can only agree with Brad and the other posters here.   Just look at the heavy hitters that have made a serious commitment to the area... Boeing, Damlier/Chrysler, Volvo all have built manufacturing plants here and following on their heels we have Costco building a second store, Lowes and HD both building more stores, Lowes Foods and Aldi's entering the market even as Harris Teeter and Publix continue to expand, Whole Foods/Amazon, etc, etc... These are companies that you can be sure did their research before committing to Charleston.

I didn't sense much faith in the burgeoning tech scene here when I asked opinions of tech folks 3 years ago, but that opinion is changing as that business sector takes hold and continues to grow.   A lot of tech companies can headquarters wherever they want and there sure seems to be a lot of people who want to live in Charleston!
