I skip over all the 50-100 home neighborhoods, storage facilities, fast casual dining, and autoparts stores that sprout up, those have become almost too common to notice until HOA's get into heated battles with developers over access rights (and usually win).

I typically see the same thing where carpet has been added on thick oak flooring and refinish the living/dining but not the bedrooms because of noise concerns but have not tested refinishing the bedrooms.
