If it's simple enough that it can be taught in a weekend, it's not worth paying $20,000-$50,000 for.If it takes a whole weekend of diamond-hard selling to get someone to buy it, it's not worth paying $20,000-$50,000 for.There are good courses out there for reasonable prices (Ben Leybovich comes to mind) but this type of 'lock you in a pep-rally' sales....I'm not a fan at all.

My personal favorite is the Black Diamond meeting in Waltham (alternates every other month with their Worcester location, next Waltham one is May).

You should definitely check out the Black Diamond meeting in Worcester (alternates every other month with their Waltham location, this is a Worcester month) as it is the closest but also probably the best event around.

Connecticut has some good areas. the city of hartford is improving. they've put a lot of investment dollars into downtown and trying to make it a more relevant city. it's still a little risky because hartford still has a ways to go, but check it out. you might find a diamond in the rough for a buy and hold. taxes are a bit on the high side but it can't hurt to look.
