I think things you could do right now as far as real estate goes would be -find a meet up in your area-find bp members in your area and pick their brain (maybe offer your services or time to add value to their life or their situation)-Self-educate.

Just wanted to pick people's brains on how they went about finding good #contractors that are open to working with investors?

I have been following the STR method and researching on it, and I wanted to pick everyone’s Brain on it. 

Our time horizon is out to next summer for the move, so we're not in a position to sell, rent, move from our primary residence before then.We'll be starting conversations with lenders -- local broker that does a lot of business with family builders, a CU we've used on a HELOC prior, and hard money guy/broker/investor friend -- over the coming weeks, and came to BP to get reacquainted to the community and to get a better set of brains before going into those conversations.Thank you.
