I can’t see them needing this house when the building is finished and I can’t see them rehabbing it for sale either.The second I think is a rental but has been vacant for at least a little while, there hasn’t been any work, cleaning, or showings that I can see and I drive by it almost daily.

Another option is going the turnkey route, where although you will be a long-distance landlord your level of involvement will still be minimal, as the turnkey company and the property manager handle most of the daily hassles.

Solid plank vinyl or good quality laminate (in non-moisture environments) is excellent and lasts far longer than carpet, and is able to be repaired.We find that most tenants appreciate the hypo-allergenic properties of a non-carpeted environment.Just a thought for the future...
