The biggest rehab projects were redoing the flooring (with sound barrier underlayment) on the whole house, upgrading the addition on the upstairs to match the quality of the rest of the house, hanging drywall & sound board on the ceiling of the basement and upgrading the basement kitchen/bathroom.

It is funny in that some have converted their attics to additional rooms and they have the most awkward ceilings, but they still rent.Hope this helps give some confidence.

I max fund my policy to allocate more towards cash value then the cash value is invested into index funds (S&P500) with a floor of 0.75% and ceiling of 13%. 

We have had some plumbing issues and the kitchen ceiling has been removed, treated for mold etc.

Basements in older homes can be problematic - ceiling heights, fire separation, access to sewer above grade etc.

I'd like to get it permitting while things have more streamlined.An outbuilding (workshop and detached garage) on a SFH also in SB county that is already plumbed with a 1/2 bath, wired with a 30 A sub-panel, and has finished ceiling/walls in the workshop.

Advise having checked and serviced as may be neede.10) ATTIC: The bathroom ceiling fan is blowing directly into the attic.

Anytime that you demo ceilings where you can see on one side to another, that will all need to have a 1 hour fire rating.

The commercial has been empty for almost 30 yrs (old liquor store) and needs floor to ceiling reno.

Why not mount it to the ceiling?
