Some townhomes are like $250,000 and rent is still $2000+.Where I’m from, a $400,000 house would probably rent for about $2000 so I was pleasantly surprised to see how much more rent you can get per dollar, is this pretty standard or am I missing something about Freeport?

I’ve had 2-3 buyers interested in Lakewood and Edgewater areas continuously over the last 1 1/2 yrs so have spent a lot of time looking at properties in these areas- here are a few additional observations:The numbers on renovated full size Lakewood two family don’t match most investors criteria (greater than 7% ROI).

It would be more ideal if you had or can find an investor friendly agent there to rep you as the buyer to ask all the questions or know what questions to ask for you to figure out more about all four units.
