@Jeff S.Ask your accountant to pull and send you the code section where it states that rentals that rise to the level of a trade or business are subject to SE tax.Maybe he needs to re-read Sec 1402 and the related regs, and maybe you should consider interviewing other CPAs/EAs.

It sounds like you believe that having $75k worth of real estate education entitles you to have aspiring investors wanting to invest with you (if you don't think that then reread your posts- your original post specifically mentions the cost of your education as an indication of your success as an investor).

If you have signed, reread the agreement to make sure you know what/whether you're locked into representation on ANY property you purchase.My advice about Agents is, if you don't feel comfortable with an agent, move on.
