No the cemetery will not affect the value since it isn't that close but the thing that is closer is the city sewage treatment plant and homeless shelter (google 40 Prado), on a windy day you may get some not so pleasant smells in that direction since the wind blows southeast mostly through the Los Osos Valley wind tunnel.

 :)About two weeks later, the curb was painted gray again and I got a code enforcement letter for bouldevard planting maintenance and irrigation that sprayed some on the driveway.

@Michael Plante  about 5 yrs ago, I got a quote from the RichDad/PoorDad group (out of Arizona) who had a monthly Q&A call around "Land Development"  something like $1500 for the year.

In fact, I am sure that "your reality" offers far more evidence that proves true than "my reality" (most or alot of people do fail in real estate), but to the select few out their that realize that this is not our practice life, and cannot wait around for 45 years till retirement, I would highly encourage you to start following your real estate dreams today.Yes there is a decent learning curve to real estate, and market conditions do change, but a good investor changes with the seasons, just as no farmer plants his corn in the winter, you need to adjust your investment ideas to meet your market conditions.

They come to work for Intel the states largest private company ( my daughter works there)  They just spent over 10 billion on three new fab plants and now have over 20k employees in the PDX market alone.. then of course you have Nike which is huge..

It appears as the steam pipes are wrapped in asbestos insulation in the basement, and I'm wondering if wrapping the insulation is sufficient in terms of lawsuit risk as long as I restrict access to these areas to tenants.Knob & Tube Wiring: I also plan on providing electrical resiliency and fire protection by replacing the existing Knob & Tube wiring.

It has been nice for title plants though to get everything digital instead of like back east were they still have to hire an abstractor to go into the courthouse to do a simple title search.. our title searchs here in Oregon are done in the phillipines for instance.
